I finished the book I am the messenger. I'm just kinda confused on the guy who sent him the cards... Who is he and why did he send them. I just got really confused in the end. Other than that it is an AMAZING book. It makes you re-think your life and everyday actions.

I read it in December I think...so I could be slightly off. But I got the impression that the bank robbery, the cards, everything was something that the father had set into motion before he died. The father arranged all of that weird stuff to happen to his son to teach him life-lessons. So I guess the lawyers or whoever the father and/or lawyers hired to act out all this crazy stuff were the ones actually doing it. But it was all pre-arranged.
