our government has put such a low priority on funding education that we are statistically the lowest rated in the industrialized world
now that we can't seem to 1/2 read or interpret the thing for ourselves, the government is kindly doing this for us
the average joe q public should always trust an elitist word
because elitists put everyone else's best interest first

The constitution won't campaign for them and the constitution won't get them any of that lovely budget money to take home and show their constituents how much they are doing for their "own people!"

Because Georgie caters to big money, the super rich and powerful... and they want to get in on the action... $$$$$!
Also, for the same reason hordes of lemmings swim out to sea and drown or for the same reason whales beach themselves in large groups...
EDITED: kveryeffective, illegal searches, illegal wire-tapping, spying on those who take out certain books from a public library, illegally detaining prisoners without the right to counsel or without formal charges in clandestine prisons... what about a court order? What about a warrant? What about a speedy trial? How about Freedom of Speech? How about feeling secure in one's own person and home? The, ahem... BASIS... well, READ the Bill of Rights, booby; it's part of the Law of the Land, in case you're NOT familiar with our Constitution!
