I wouldn't know why, but apparently you haven't had a tourist season before and know you don't shoot at the people coming in from other states bringing in tons of revenue for business and then they go home and do it again next year.

I know. I went to get my hunting license and asked them for a tourist stamp for it. The people almost didn't let me have a license at all. They said that tourists are never in season, even though some should be.

you can in some resort towns,,, used to do it in the one i lived in,,, of course there is a limited number you can shoot during the season, since it is an economy based sport,,, but during the major holidays, permits are given out through a lottery system and one stamp per winner is given out with a max of 50 permits given out per holiday season,,, of course this number may vary depending on the migrating herds,,,
