Maybe no easy way these days but I recommend a tape measure. Give the student a tape measure and have student measure everything in the room. Finding out which things are bigger is fun! Fractions will soon become involved when things get down to less than an inch difference. Markings on a tape measure are logical even to most dyslecxics. Try it!
