i am not talking about: "hey look at that guy he is huge" but about "hey look at that guy, what biceps! and his abs are perfect, look at the size of those legs, and perfect triceps, and what a heavy and well defined chest!"

I don't think straight guys say that or would admit of thinking that.

Someone is sooooo wrong. Most straight men admire others who have kept themselves together or work hard to keep themselves together. I am 100% straight and am motivated by two things in life. 1st - the beer belly men that I am afraid of getting, and the well defined man, who sacrifices to keep himself looking good. A six pack is a thing of the past, but if you are over thirty-five and have an eight-pack, you are the envy of both (no just the straight men) you are the desire of the gay ones.

Please, that thought is complete rubish! OF COURSE YOU CAN! Do not listen to the hype of todays society! The word 'gay' never MEANT a homosexual! Society warps views and words for the worst!

And to answer your question, it is fine. If you admire a bodybuilder for how their body looks, is definately not 'gayish' in the least! It is when people automatically jump to the conclusion that you are! No worries! It is fine! Not in the least gayish.

It is easy to admire people for the obviously hard work they have put into some endeavor. So, yes, you can admire someone for being a good bodybuilder.

If you are sexually attracted to him, then you might consider it "gayish".

I think so. It's just like admiring anything other person for what makes them them. It's just that the person in question happens to have perfect triceps and a well-defined chest...

society seems to think that it is ok for women to admire other women's bodies without being labelled as lesbian, yet if a man does the same thing, he is labelled gay.. but this is unreasonable.

it is totally natural to observe, admire, and appreciate an athletic body of any sex, regardless of sexual orientation. and its a shame that men have been trained to avoid expressing admiration out of a fear of being given a gay label.

sexual orientation has nothing to do with admiring a body builder.. that i know for sure!

Bodybuilding is in second only to men's figure skating on the gayness scale. Sorry, but they are useless as athletes and spend way to much time in the mirror and tanning bed. Do I have to bring up the panties they wear? Not saying you're gay, but come on now.......what is the point of the sport and who cares what a dude looks like besides chicks and gay guys?

I think so.
Generally, it's more accepted by society for girls to do something like that; to be able to say things like "Hey, that girl was really pretty." But I think guys should also be able to say, "Wow, that guy was really attractive" without being gay.
