Does anyone have any ideas on a topic that i can write an expository essay on that are from 1900-1950 and related to civil rights? Please don't reccomend world war II, segregration, world war I, great depression, etc. [the topic cannot be so broad]

How about the inventions of that time period? The end of the 19th century and the beginning of the the 20th saw huge leaps in technology. It is an interesting subject and you won't believe all the things that were invented in that time period. Most of these things we take for granted.
