There really is nothing wrong with Casa Grande it is a small town but so close to Phoenix anymore that it's just a hop to come in to town. Eloy is a VERY small town, but if you like that atmosphere, there is nothing wrong with it either. Don't let people discourage you, everyone is different and I live in Phoenix but would have no problem living in Casa Grande. I would have a hard time with Eloy because I like having the ability to go grocery shopping at midnight! Housing is much more affordable in Casa Grande than it is in Phoenix, so even though you could have a job in Phoenix for $35,000 you'll get more bang for the buck in the smaller town. Good Luck

that should be enough to live on in those towns, but you won't have a lot to do on the weekends without driving to Pheonix. I don't remember much about those towns other than truck stops and fast food. Eloy is basically just a rest stop between Tucson and Pheonix

Don't do it....you could easily get 35K in the Phoenix area and not want to kill yourself for living in a sh*thole

There's not much out there. You'll need to look in Mesa, Chandler, or Tempe probably.
