im going to sephora on saturday... just wondering, any tips on what to get and what not to get? i've never been to a sephora and im goin to the one in New York City... so help please so i dont look completly lost infront of my friends and buy something ill later regret, or want to run back to a MAC store lol.

Cargo, I love their medium bronzer. They have a great anniversary kit with some of their best items. I do like Cargo glosses, but they do wear off quickly. Sephora's Pink Grapefruit body cream smells great...but doesn't moisturize the best. Benefit's Rushhour that works as a blush/lipstick. Urban Decay Eye Primer Potion, the best eyeshadow primer. Keeps your eyeshadow on & crease free all day. That's all I can think of off the top of my head, I'm sure there's more.;) Happy shopping!:)

My personal favorites:
Try the Nars cosmetic line- they have some great eyeshadows (21.00-31.00) and lip glosses (23.00). I especially like the Orgasm shade for gloss and blush- looks great on everyone. Philosophy has some great face washes- try the Purity (10.00 for the small bottle) or the On a Clear Day line. Their bubble baths are wonderful too. Oh and pick up a tin of Rosebud salve (6.00)- great for lips and hands and smells sooooo good. There are great high end perfumes there too- I like Stella McCartney's Two in Peony (around 38.00). And Frederik Fekkai's hair line- wonderful stuff!
There's so much to buy at Sephora. I can't not recommend anything. But you can always get online at Sephora.com and check out what they have before hand. Have fun! And be prepared to spend a lot of money!

Anything you find in Sephora is great. I love that store. Everytime I have been the sales associates were great. I would check out the Duwop line of lip plumpers/glosses. They are my absolute fave. You could always look at their products online before you head in there to preview what you might be interested in.

Urban Decay es primer potion..that stuff is awesome and you can always use it for all your shadows.
Kiss Me mascara...try it out..it is only sold at Sephora..its NEW and it actually has little tubes that form around your lashes that will last till you take them off..totally water and smudge proof.You have to actually use warm water and gentle rubbing to slide the tubes off.

Everything in Sephora is wonderful...really. With prices like that, you really can't buy a crappy product. Color, foundation, whatever.....its all there, and all of it is wonderful. Be prepared to blow some $$$$$$ though! That's why I love it....:-)

everyhting NARS is nice the SUGAR brand is also very colorful, sephora brand also has so cheaper nice eyeliners and lipglosses.
