this should set your hearts and minds at ease:
.
.The recent nationwide pet food recall initiated by Menu Foods and other companies does not include any Mars Petcare US pet food products. All of our brands, including PEDIGREE® and CESAR® food for dogs, and WHISKAS® and SHEBA® food for cats, are safe for pets to enjoy.
The safety and nutritional quality of our pet food is our top priority because for many people, their pets are their top priorities.
For details on the recall, contact Menu Foods at 1-866-895-2708 or visit the company's web site at: www.menufoods.com/recall

RE:
Does anyone know if the pet food recall includes Cesar canine cuisine?
We've looked at the pet food recall web-site and didn't see anything and the vet was unsure. I tried to look up on the masterfood web site and did not see anything but was wondering if anyone had heard anything. We double checked with the Fancy feast that we give the cats and their...

I think your dogs are just great at knowing what is healthy and what is not! lol Beneful, Pedigree and Cesar are all crap foods. If you can buy it at a grocery store, it's garbage. Take a look at their main ingredients and I bet in the first 5 there will be some sort of corn or wheat ingredient which is not good. Blue Buffalo makes great quality food. I would consider it affordable. $60 for a 30 pound bag is reasonable. They also charge under $2 for a can of wet food.

No, it wasn't recalled.
But that brand of dog food is horrible. Just look up the ingredients. Pedigree and Iams are also really bad for your dog.
