You mean like the Founding Fathers did to Britian?

kveryeffective:
Irrational? Let's look at the definition of that first
ir·ra·tion·al –adjective
-without the faculty of reason; deprived of reason.
-not in accordance with reason; utterly illogical: irrational arguments.

This implies that those that dislike Bush lack reasonable cause to do so when the opposite is true. The following are reasons most often given for "hating" Bush, but as they do indeed show a rationality to hating Bush.

1. Tax cuts for rich
2. Slow response time when nation under attack (if you think he didn't act slowly...compare action of the FAA and ATC that day with how long it took for us to hear from Bush).
3. Failure to find person responsible for 9/11 attacks after promising to do so...then publicly stating that "Osama bin Laden doesn't matter"
4. Force pull back from 9/11 mastermind locale to attack completely unrelated country.
5. Beginning internationally illegal war (based on treaties US signed).
6. No strategy for illegal war.
7. Proclomation that "hostilities were over" in illegal war as US soldiers continued to die in a growing insurgency...which the Administration had no strategy for.
8. Listing cause of war as "WMDs" while ignoring countries that openly flaunt WMD ability.
9. Giving contracts to company in questionable bidding process that benefits key administration officials.
10. Cannot put a coherent sentence together.

Don't need to. I was raised that way. I'm learning slowly that even if I think its hopeless to fix America, and dislike the government, I can still appreciate the hundreds of freedoms we still have that are rare in other countries. And I really do love this land, the people, the scenery, the variety.
But don't diss these people without thinking. I know I was raised to see only the bad things, the politics I hate, to the point of missing the value of living here. Its taken me over ten years to work past that, and sometimes I still get so frustrated with the slobness of the "American Way" that I do wish I lived in another country.
I'm homeless now, and that has really opened my eyes to how blessed I am here. I am not turned in to the cops, I have food stamps and jobhunting help, everyone is tremendously friendly, and I even have a car. How many homeless people in other countries can say all that?
I don't sleep under bushes, and eat garbage. I don't have to hide from other people.
So while America is far from perfect, and getting rather too liberal to suit me, I wouldn't trade it for anything but heaven!

Yes. It must be terrible to be a liberal living in a land they hate so much. Wish they would all go away and hate America from a great distance.

You mean those people who forsake their civic duty to keep the government honest, draped them selves in the flag, and then changed the channel to reruns of Different Strokes 'cause they like the way Arnold wears his jeans? No, can't imagine it
