I had a "journal" that I kept my thoughts in from Middle School. My grandfather would write in a "diary" everyday. Other than that, I don't write in anything. I keep memories through pictures and video. Remember, "a picture is worth a thousand words."

I keep a journal...

I honestly don't read through it often, so it isn't a huge influence in the now, but I've read journal entries from years back and can't even believe I wrote them. It has nothing to do with the ability to remember (though I admittedly choose to forget some things after they go in my journal).

It's a then/now tool, and if you keep one, likely the purpose for doing so will hit you when it's supposed to.

Live well~

Hmm, in keeping with risk it has something to do with the "study" area of the girls people's study type; some everybody is drawn to "study" and study, they are no longer merely drawn to "very own evaluations" or "very own reviews" like the "Singles and courting" type. i do no longer strategies if somebody disagrees completely with me as quickly as I ask a question, if i've got suggested I"m drawn to evaluations, no longer study; and in the event that they are no longer completely offensive approximately how they state their opinion. yet as quickly as I make an effort to discover a reseach article or a piece of writing from the mainstream press, and ask for comments, i'm no longer drawn to people's very own evaluations or reviews that are suggested as info. i do no longer take their statements heavily. i'm drawn to different study or writings or books that they've study on the subject matter, even if or no longer they consider the subject matter or no longer. yet i'm drawn to seeing different study or articles that are no longer coming from somebody's very own blog or a guy-hating or woman-hating guy or woman or team. some feminists and non-feminists have performed shoddy or no study and used their evaluations as info. i do no longer admire that content the two. a number of the non-feminists right here and someplace else state as info their very own evaluations. Others checklist a team of links from archives this is 10 years old or older. Others checklist the comparable articles lower back and lower back from the comparable people like Andrea Dworkin, asserting that they characterize feminism, as though ANY author might desire to symbolize feminism. different non-feminists checklist the comparable non-feminists articles lower back and lower back, as though each and every time they checklist the comparable article, this is going to a technique or the different replace into study or credible. Then the comparable people whine that none of their materials are seen credible, and that no matter what they do, it is not sturdy adequate. Ten 12 months old archives and non-study articles, and private evaluations are no longer credible, no matter what number circumstances you repeat it! i do no longer consider distinctive your evaluations, yet I admire the attempt and time you're taking to study your viewpoint. i will have forgotten, yet i do no longer bear in mind denigrating your questions or solutions. I consistently study your questions and solutions, on the grounds which you have performed your study.

No, I have the mental capacity to keep all my thoughts and notes about my observations in life upstairs. But, if you're weak minded and forget what happened the day before, sure I can see why you'd need a journal/diary.

Except for my blog at the Daily Kos, I haven't written in a personal diary for two years. I've become more cerebral about my problems.

Mon 19th January 2007:

I got made fun of by misogynists on Women's Studies again. Then I told them they were stupid so I won. They didn't seem to accept that based on what they were laughing at me about but I don't care!! God I'm such an empowered womyn today. I'm so beautiful too, all 120kg of me. I think I'll wear a midriff top tommorrow. If I get called fat or laughed at again I'll just get stronger!!

I did. but then I got bored of writing. So, I did something even better: scrapbooking. I can keep all my pictures and memories in a book that I can share with everybody.
