If I were you I'd start small. The big ones are quite a rush. The small ones will get your body used to it and kinda give you the feeling. Before too long you'll love it and become addicted.

If you get scared, you can always close your eyes. For your 1st few, get a seat right in the middle, that's the easiest ride. Then for a different feeling, ride the front seat and the back seat.

Trust me, after the initial fear, you'll love roller coasters.

I was always scared of roller coaster. Most of my family did not ride them and I am afraid of heights so i was never really interested. I went to a park with friends and they all wanted to go on a coaster. It was tame compared to most (no loops, small drops) so I figured I would try it. I loved it. Even though I am scared of heights, I love the speed. And I slowly worked my way up to faster coaster, coasters with loops, etc. and I have not found a coater I don’t like. What I would suggest, start with a small coaster just to get you used to them and then you can start working you way up. Oh, and try to be in the middle or first half of the coaster. That is usually the smoothest ride.

I've ridden a rollercoaster backwards and forwards. It's fun but I don't go on the ones that are soo high. I tend to get sick or to fear that I might loose my hearing aids.

I like the ones that are not very high (maybe only 100ft) and with some upside down parts. the best speed is nothing over 65mph

i personally find it very fun. there are those who like small, slow rollercoasters, but me, i say if it makes you vomit, you are really getting your money's worth.

I hate coasters to, but my family loves them so I have to go. It is scary going down or if your are afraid of hieghts, but once you get of it, you will be smiling. : )
