Of course it was faked. The US government had to keep JFKs promise to get an American there by the end of the 60s. There's apparantly more technology in a modern cell phone than they had back then to reach the moon.

If the moon landings were faked, asnswer me this, or try to find someone who can:
If it was filmed in the desert somewhere, explain how the simulation could have been installed at Mission Control so as to fool hundreds of controllers for the several years of the moon landings?
You have no idea how a complex system like that could be installed, have you? It is totally impossible, unless you consider that all the controllers were in on it. Is that what you think? Otherwise, even if the production could have been done, when was it installed. Who tested it? How would it be possible in 6 moon landings to get it so perfect that hundreds of controllers would never catch on.
Do some reading about the Apollo missions and the men that worked three shifts at mission control with 50 or more monitors, all of which showed different data about the missions. Read, think for yourself, and stop making a fool of yourself and showing your ignorance.
Uninformed opinion is the most dangerous thing in the world.

Apparently you have not researched it on Yahoo answer, as that question gets asked at least once every day.
Man on the moon was not -- repeat NOT - fake.
It really happened.
If not, the Russians who wanted to beat USA to the moon, and had similar technology, the motive AND the means to prove it was fake, if it was, never said anything. Because they KNEW it was real.
For the record, faking it would have required more technology and would have cost orders of magnitude more than doing it for real.

There is one picture that was taken from the moon with Earth on the horizon. If you look closely, there is no stars in the background. Many claim that that was caused by a stage room. However that picture was taken during the daytime on the moon. You cant see the stars during the daytime on Earth and neither on the moon.

The USSR sent automated probes, which returned small samples. These were chemically and isotopically consistent with the many samples from the 6 Apollo landings, and both were quite different from anything on Earth. They also tracked the radio signature of those missions, triangulating their position from widely spaced detectors in Moscow & Vladivostok.

we saw this video in social studies about a week ago that's a conspiracy video about the moon landing. we are studying the apollo missions right now. anyways, yes it did give a lot of proof that it was fake and good proof too, but after it said some proof agaisnt the moon landing, then they had factual reasons tha made sense after it to prove that it was real afterall. one thing that was odd though was that there was a letter c on a moon rock that they zoomed in on in a picture. the astronauts said it was a hair, but they were full body space suits, and it seemed like a normal C. but my theory is they could have written letters on a lot of wrocks they saw to keep different kinds of rocks apart.

Hi. IIAWYPNTAA?
Edit: If I Answer Will You Promise Not To Ask Again? Sort of like asking how could there have been jets in the 1940s.

Take a few minutes and read through the information on this website ==>http://www.badastronomy.com/bad/tv/foxapollo.html
Each and every one of the so-called "proofs" that men have never landed on the moon are shredded..!

I think this is the 4,521,093 time this question has been asked (second only to "Why is the sky blue?"). I believe we did land on the moon.
