Barbara, asking more than once won't guarantee you with better answers. You can buy anything you want while in Chapter 13 with cash as long as you are making your agreed to payments with the Trustee. If you miss a payment because you needed a new dining room table then its your tough luck.

And when your debt is satisfied you may even qualify to buy a house or car without being hammered too much on your rate.
