is their anyother product then proactive that works? i mean for pimples, and what do you think about proactive does it work?

I use a Nuetrogena 8 hour gel or pads in the orange container. It works pretty well! I do think proactive works but I haven't tried it.

I used proactive for a while. It worked at first, but then I guess my skin became immune to it. I use two prescriptions now, Differen Cream, which is gentler than Retin - A, and Tetracycline, an antibiotic that kills bacteria. They have been working great together, and I have tried a lot of stuff!

Proactive works amazing! So does st. ives facial cleansers, like the apricrot scrub, I used that and proactive and now I have clear skin! It works really good! You shoud try it! Hope this helps! Good luck!

I know many people have said good things about proactive, but for me it made my face worse when I was younger. I think it just depends on the type of skin you have and how bad your acne is.

I use Cetaphil (wash and lotion), along with a Benzoyl peroxide wash, besides these I use doctor given medication.

Oh and on the Purpose note, it is supposed to be really good. I couldn't use it because it dried my face out too much, but I know people who love it.

OMG! PROACTIVE WORKS!! I used proactive and it worked! Totally! I thought I was scared because people made fun of me but now alot of my pimples went away and I felt much much better!:)

All I can say is, Wash you're face twice a day with LIQUID Purpose gental cleaning wash [Jhonston and Jhonston] BAR SOAP WILL MAKE IT WORSE! When you touch bar soap it takes the grease and stuff from your fingers. When you put it on you're face it makes the pimples worse. Trust me, for the longest time I had a big acme problem. When I started using Purpose 2x a day it cleared up! And It's natural to break out during you're period, So nothing really helps that, lol

Try using something over-the-counter first. Benzoyl Peroxide is usually available as a store brand. You can also use something like a salicylic acid wash to help remove dead skin. Both products should be used according to package directions, and be forewarned that both can cause skin irritation and redness even when used as directed.

proactive works okay it helps get rid of pimples but dosnt prevent new ones. You can try a hotwater/oatmeal scrub for your face i did and it cleared my pimples and blackheads up!
