FYI: I have loved a guy for about 5 years now. We’re not together. We haven’t seen or spoken for some time now. I’m still trying to get over him. Now about my dream:
I dreamt that I was in my room thinking about a guy I love. On my table was a glass filled with hot coffee. Here it comes: I was looking through the glass and the most weirdest thing happened. It looked like milk/clouds were floating on the side of the glass (which I was looking at) And it slowly began to form to the face of the guy I’m trying to forget. I quickly picked up the glass and wanted to go to the kitchen to throw the coffee away. What on earth does this mean??

Not all dreams are so blatant; the dream definitely is focused on "this guy." So far, your answers have conflicting interpretations. I'd never speculate about someone else's dream since only they can truly interpret it. I think it's safe, however, to say you haven't come to terms with "loving" him & wanting to "forget" him. The conflict shows, right there in your question. As I can only be objective, I suggest you evaluate the conflict & come to some conclusion, or the dream (its metaphor) is likely to continue. It isn't up to me to tell you to try to reconcile, or to put him in your past. Only you can know what's best for you. One last thing--get as close as possible to your EMOTIONS in the dream. id say the coffee represents a sense of alertness in your current state. the milky clouds turning into his face may represent truth coming through the fog and "awakening" you. and showing you what you need to do. you know you need to dump this guy out of your head, its just a matter of "waking up" and smelling the java, and pouring this guy down the drain where he belongs.

Just kidding. I think that the "hot coffee" is a warning that if you pursue this guy, you are in some way going to get "burned". Think about it.

I think its your mind telling you to "throw him away", aka forgetting about him. Either that or you drink too much coffee.

this means that the guy u are trying to forget and you are ment to be, dont ignore him! go talk to him and make contact, dont be afraid! if u are go get support! whoever this guy is, he must be worth it!
