I never expected this, thought I'd be feeling free and relaxed. I feel like part of me is missing. I'm not clingy or overprotective, just have strong ties to my children's hearts. How do you cope with this feeling?

I know exactly how you feel, but it's only natural after spending a lot of years bringing up your children. Just remember that they will always be there for you as you were for them, keep in regular contact without them feeling that you are interfering, although I find this very hard !!Be proud that you have been a good mother, and believe in yourself, your time has come again, go out as much as you can, do all the things you always wanted to do, take up a hobby and keep busy, the emptiness will pass believe me, Good luck to you.

Call them everyday and tell them you love them.

Also A dear friend of mine who went though what you did said it helped writing a letter once a week to children it gave her a senses of connection to her kids.

Good Luck to you.
