I like Gaines Adams from Clemson. He has the perfect size for a speed rush DE. He also proved his power in the combine coming in second in the bench press for his position.

it usually depends on which team the player goes to. LaRon Landry will go to a team that needs a starter at safety, either the Texans, Falcons, or even Cardinals. That being said, these teams all struggled quite a bit defensively. This guarantees that LaRon will play a large role in stopping the run and defending the pass. That's why he'll be the top rookie: especially when the safety position is, after linebacker, one of the easiest positions to rack up tackles, etc. but also a fairly hard one to play, especially as a rookie. However, Landry has shown that he's intelligent, he has blazing speed, and he can cover the pass. He's a complete package.

That would have to be Nebraska DE Adam Carriker. He has a big advantage over most rookie DL because he is versatile enough to produce in virtually any scheme and has the size and strength to be a force at the point of attack. He also has the athleticism to beat one-on-one pass blocks. He proved this in the Senior Bowl where he was the most disruptive lineman in practice. He had 20 1/2 sacks and 41 tackles for losses in college and at 6'6'', 296lbs is a force to be reckoned with. Whatever team drafts him will get a starter from day one!

probably someone we wont expect, like a 2nd or 3rd rounder, possibly even a later draft pick like a 5th round
like how DeMeco Ryans came in and blew away every other rookie defensive player

i think nelson from florida, okoye, the DE from Fl or their DT in florida. i think it can be like the season that past that rookie draft late will make an impact and have stats like mark anderson.
this year is the offensive players year and the best will be in the 1st round to early 2nd. the best defenders will be late 1st round and further down the draft

I would watch out for Jamaal Anderson he is supposed to be a top five pick and will be a big playmaker with a lot of energy on the line.

Patrick Willis. He will probably go to the Bills and get an immediate starting job and not so bad players around him.
