I have a 1973 chevelle laguna with a 350 turbo fire engine. It really weak i know that its only got like 150 hp stock. And when we rebuilt it, we added a 4 barrel carb, does ne one know how much hp that could have added?

Actually, just dumping more gas down it's throat doesn't give an engine much of a boost without adding a bigger cam and heads with larger valves, etc, etc. You are just wasting gas.

Efficiency is the key. It's a total picture thing. There's a lot to it.

My old Chiltons says 15-20hp

about 10 hp. if you used a stock intake manifold, you could add a edelbrock performer intake manifold and you could probably add another 20 hp. to that figure.
