Dog and cat foods have been poisoned with something. Some of the animals are dying. Alot of websites offer free samples of foods, teas, health and beauty products and even pet food samples . I regularly go into selected websites because of these freebies - am I putting myself at risk by doing so? I have tried the samples I have received and have never gotten sick or had any side affects. What would you do?

Changing a dogs diet many times over is not good for them, plus god only knows what you are getting when you get freebies. Pick one, stick with it.

Kibble food was never recalled! only can and pouch wet food were the problem.
You are perfectly fine buying anything produced by Ralston-Purina. or for that matter anything that doesn't mention Menufoods Corp. which is the one corporation selling and making all the food under these 40 or so brand labels that are recalled.
You are still fine buying Friskies 9 lives, or kibblesn bits, Alpo or Skippy, & pedigree.
