also there are alot of young singers out there...his age has nothing to do with it..he has a very powerful voice!!

He is so awesome to go out there and give it all he's got after how poorly Simon has treated him!

I agree that he can sing. He's certainly not tone deaf. BUT... He's young... and he doesn't have a strong voice. He would be perfect in his HS choir. He's a sweet boy with a good dose of humble pie. I think that he knows in his heart that he is no where near as good as the other singers on the show and that he should be the one going home. Plus he doesn't have the stage presence or the projection to put forth his best.
Open your eyes (and ears for that matter)... there are MUCH better singers that you should be supporting. Sanjaya had his chance, but now it's time for him to go home and let the stars shine.

I agree! People have their minds made up and will not give Sanjaya a chance. He is an awesome singer. He needs better song choices. He kinda has a scratchy voice (like Adam Lazarra from TakingBackSunday~ so maybe he should sing one of their songs) or the new version of "She's Like the Wind"

i like sanjaya but he isn't the best singer you have to vote for the best singer it is a singing competion not a popularity contest
you are doing a disservice to all the rest of the good singers in the competiton to vote for him every time just because you like him he has to prove he can sing and he is good but he isn't the best one there
