J'onn J'onzz the Martian Manhunter would win. Why? There are very few characters that could actually go toe to toe with Superman and beyond. Superman in a JLA issue once said that even he feared him. Anyone knows that the Manhunter's weakness is fire but when would you get the chance to use it. The Manhunter can turn invisible, control his density, and he's a high grade telepath. He can have Superman out of his mind without laying a punch. In one story arc of JLA, they went against the White Martians. They had Superman believing that he was dying from kryptonite that wasn't there. In another story where the Martian Manhunter conquered his fear and weakness of fire, he nicely went insane. The Manhunter nearly took out the entire team Superman included. It took Plastic Man to save the day. Superman's tough but Martian Manhunter is better.

Martian Man Hunter would probably attempt to utilise the resources of the Justice League to acquire large amounts of kryptonite
I'd say Superman could beat him if it was a spontaneous battle or he premeditated it
but the Man Hunter would win if he had been planning it for a while and had the element of surprise, playing to Superman's trusting instincts
98% of your answers will be "Superman" because non-comic readers don't know who the Man Hunter is
considering J'onn J'onzz has pretty much all the powers of Superman plus he isn't weak against Kryptonite, I'd say he was a sure bet in most cases

This old man doesn't know anymore. The Manhunter used to have different powers. He could even imitate Superman, and his weakness, then, was to fire. That old Manhunter would beat Supes any day. The new one just seems like a DC version of the Vision from Marvel.

Superman would destroy him, I mean his weakness is fire, and that's way easier to get then Kryptonite.
