The monopoly which he formed was one of the most successful in both making profits as well aas in providing quality goods with quality timing to American citizens. He may have been thought of as ruthless by both his competitors and progressives, but those who worked for him as well as his stockholders appreciated his dedication towards his company as well as the management he procured for the oil industry.
