I scrapbook, sew, crochet, take pictures, and I used to bead but my 3 year old likes to eat the beads.

Reading is always the best option- you can also write anything, dance, sing, learn playing some musical instrument or some language, and of course, for a solution which won't need much of money- you can turn to paper craft, origami, clay modelling, papier mache etc.

I love to read, play my piano, or make jewelry in my free time. Making jewelry can get frustrating, but if you stick with it, you can get really good at it. I should know. I've sold my jewelry at school and neighborhood functions. One of my teachers bought a key chain from me, and it brings me joy when I see her with it every day. I also love to take pictures and sell them or give them as gifts. It just brightens my day when I get compliments on my photography and jewelry. Another one of my teachers, my art teacher in fact, bought one of my pictures of flowers. She loves it.
