They are flying me out to their office 5 states away first class, putting me up in a 5-star hotel, and assigning me a driver for the duration of my journey (1 night, 2 days).

I just don't know if I should shave off my goatee or leave it.

If you are even asking yourself this question, SHAVE IT. Personally, I think that having a goatee is like having mismatched socks. It doesn't mean that you wouldn't do a good job, but, c'mon, let's play it safe and exhibit that you know how to look and act like a professional.

Hell, some interviewers look at the shoes to see how many "beads"/holes are in the wingtip design, just to see if it meets the minimum "conservative" requirements.

There are very few firms that would see a goatee as unprofessioanal . . .and implied in that answer is that there are some that would.

Shaving your goatee though will probably make the newly shaved area look wierd to you and probably leave you skin looking two toned (looking differnt in the area that was recently shaved because of lack of exposure to sunlight).

Leave it on, dress like a leader, feel like $50 million and ace the interview!

Leave your goatee on and make sure your underpants are clean from all the bullshit you just dished out.
