To sleep like a baby, doesn`t mean the quantity of sleep, it means the quality of sleep. Babies` have no worries or cares, so when they fall asleep, it is a restfull peacefull sleep.

True!

Actually we had a party at my place on Friday night and My friends came over with their 3 week old baby. He slept through all the music and about 20 people talking. I wanted him to wake up so I could have a hold. But he slept soundly for 2 hours!

Great picture by the way!

babies can fall asleep anywhere in any position and often very quickly including in the middle of a meal. Toddlers don't seem to mind occasionally using a bowl of food as a pillow! We are regulated by the man-made 24 hour clock, Babies by nature's time and the bodies needs! Babies don't really wake every two hours even when it feels like they do! they aren't programmed to. Falling asleep without tossing and turning and waking without careing what time the clock say's and feeling refreshed Yes A few more nights my way please! I'm the one waking every two hours not the baby!

Whoever first said that probably had never had a baby of their own. I myself have not had a baby before, but I know that babies wake up all hours of the night because my little brother did not like to sleep when he was a baby.

But have you ever carried around an exhausted baby? It's neat. You can do anything and they just sleep through it. You want to wake them up so that they sleep when you sleep, so you tickle their feet, their ears, make loud noises, and they keep on snoozing.
