Why do most Americans blame ALL the muslims for 9/11?

Even though I'm Muslim and part arab, I had nothing to do with 9/11. I never bombed a American so why should I be FORCED to share collective guilt? I'm not sorry for something I DID NOT COMMIT. BTW, you are BLAMING US LIKE THE BLACKS DO TO WITH SLAVERY!

if you are living in America you too would benefit from slavery to this day.there is a great dept owed to the blacks of this country,on the other hand,what have you done to create peace and understanding regarding Islam which means Peace.BE the example you seek.

Because those Americans aren't able to think for themselves. They just swallow whatever Daddy Media tells them. Similarly, it's difficult for these poor brain-dead souls to conceive of anyone else acting independently or having their own free will - be it the free will to crash a plane into a building, or the free will to not be a violent extremist.

The media plays a huge role in exoticizing the enemy and creating an us/them dichotomy; propaganda is powerful and destructive.

Although I do have to take exception to your last comment about "the blacks" as you put it. If you dislike being lumped in a generalized catagory with a few muslim extremists, why do you think it's OK to lump all black people into the same catagory? That's not very fair or right.

Its because of pure ignorance and fear. A lot of people were scared about 9/11 and over generalized that specific group to be responsible. I think its terrible.
