As I blonde, I don't understand why everyone calls me dumb. I'm not an idiot and all the jokes are really horrible. Does anyone know where this cruel discrimination originated from? By the way, I'm not like totally crazy, I just was wondering.

I'm blonde too, I just figure with all the jokes going around about us, they are leaving the elderly, the obese, and all the oddities alone out, plus it is really showing off their I.Q.

I don't know where it originated but it's just a really crummy stereotype. As a blonde I have heard my share of the "dumb blonde" jokes so I feel your pain sista.

Because blonde hair didnt use to be a natural hair color... it was always black brown and red...
Blonde is new... and alot of guys think it is got when a girl has natural blonde hair... and when all the girls started dying their hair that color just too look good, us guys started calling them stupid... and then we always caught them doing stupid things...
Like Jessica Simpson - I dont eat Buffalo, or Is it chicken or fish?
Yall just had a bad rep...
Personally, I love blondes... But I dont like it when you have to dye your hair fully just to be blonde...

because lots of the girls who are total ditzes like to dye their hair blonde. they just like the color. im not saying all girls who dye their hair blonde are ditzes, but the "fashionable, popular" girls do seem to like the color.
its not the real blondes' fault...its stupid girls with blonde hair ruining your name.
plus, u gotta admit...some dumb blonde jokes are really funny.

this joke didn't originate anywhere people really figured this out on their own i use to be against this stereotype until i found i out myself that blondes are really stupid and mentally challenged i hate to admit it but its true
