I remember hearing or reading something about the founding of the nation. apparently we invited a german noble (frederick?) to be our king. he declined. we also hated the british so much we voted on making german our offical language, but it failed. am i just smoking crackalackadingdong or something? wasnt english our official language?

it turns out that the official language of the US is english, due to the fact that our constitution is written in it and our schools are taught in it.

our u . s . does no longer have an stable language, because of the fact it somewhat is a "u . s . of immigrants" (as for advantageous, the english even have been immigrants to those beaches). besides the fact that if the unofficial language, spoken with the help of the well-known public and the main suitable language of all stable documents going decrease lower back to the assertion of independence is obviously english as those founders of the u.s. have been decendents of the english colonists.

our nation does not have an official language, as it is a "nation of immigrants" (as of course, the english also were immigrants to these shores). however the unofficial language, spoken by the majority and the main language of all official documents going back to the declaration of independence is of course english as those founders of the u.s. were decendents of the english colonists.

If the official language was English.....it seems to have gone to Hell.....now you're left with something that closely resembles English....let's call it American.

I used to be English, but I'm sure it's Spanish now. At least in southern California it is.
