I happened to look up in the sky last Friday night and saw an object flying across the sky. It had no blinking light, no tail (trails) like a meteor. It flew way faster than a plane but slower than a shooting star. It also had a square-ish shape to it. Lastly, the "lights" from it were very faint.

Only logical answer I have is it was a satellite. If it helps, I'm from Hayward, CA and the object flew from Northwest to Southeast.

What do you think it could've been?

Yep, sounds like a satellite. There are a lot of them up there; you'll see them any given night.

Probably a satellite, you can try the site below, it's a NASA public "tracking" site. I think you can go back also.
