If your against abortion, don't have one. I am prochoice and I don't shove my opinion down others throats. Everyone is entitled to an opinion. And that is what they all are, opinions. If a woman & man choose to have an abortion, then so be it. Why do others get so upset? It's not you having the abortion. Mistakes happen even when precautions are taken. I only don't agree with it when someone uses it as their form of birth control. I personally don't see a first trimester abortion as murder since there is no heart beat or brain activity.

First of all, whether you are pro-life or pro-choice, abortion IS NOT murder, at least not in the U.S. By definition murder is the UNLAWFUL killing of another person. In the U.S. abortion is LEGAL therefor completely lawful. Secondly IMHO, it is a decision a woman must come to on her own (or with the father if appropriate). I don't think I could have one unless my life was in danger, but I can't impose my morals on anyone else. Saying abortion is only OK if someone is raped is ridiculous. It puts the life of one fetus above the life of another, solely based on how one is conceived. Basically, that's discrimination and totally against the true pro-life point of view (that abortion is discrimination based on age). Using the adoption argument is also a little weird to me. Aren't there many children already who need homes? I feel truly sorry for women who cannot reproduce, but that doesn't mean I'm going to start popping them out when there are plenty of children in our system right now. It is not my responsibility, or any other woman's, to provide picky people with brand new babies. That said, abortion is a very personal issue one we each have to come to terms with on our own, not with the aid of any government. More than half of abortions are preformed for woman who ARE on birth control. Most people who have abortions are trying to prevent pregnancy, some of us are just more fertile than others.

Its all about choice. Im a Catholic so im not suppose to beleive in abortion. To me it depends on why a person is having one in the first place.
If they got pregnant by accident, i beleive abortion should not be carried out. They should go ahead and give the child up for adoption instead.
If a person was raped, then abortion should be allowed.
If a person has finacial hardship, then abortion should not be allowed, again giving up the child for adoption would be a good thing.
If a baby had a birth defect and was going to die at birth, for me that would be 50/50.
Thats my opinion, everyone would haev their own opinion and i thing who ever answers should respect every ones unique opinion.

Honestly, I don't like the idea of abortion, especially by someone who willingly made the baby. I think they should just deal with it because it was their choice...Also I saw the pictures of abortions and they were gross:p... they have a heartbeat by their 6 wk of life which constitutes a human being...

Abortion is a topic matter which you totally can not comprehend or place an trustworthy answer to except you have been in that situation. there are such distinctive distinctive circumstances different than no longer being waiting. Ex. rape, incest, project with the infant, project with you etc.

abortion=stem cell research. stem cell research=cure for all cancers, A.L.D., muscular sclerosis, ect. and women will also be happier because it will give them more choices. Pro choice, Con sexism

I am totally against it due to my religious and moral beliefs...i believe that if you do what it takes to get pregnant you should take care of your child and in the event you cant take care of em, there are people who really want kids and stuff...
