Key Stage 2 is what used to be called Junior School - hence children are in this Key Stage between the ages of 7 and 11.
Hope this helps.

Key stage 2 is years 3 - 6 at primary school.

If you are asking when they do their key stage 2 tests, they are called SATs (Standard Attainment Tests) and are usually taken the second week in May when they are in year 6.

Nationally expected levels from this set of tests (English, Maths and Science) is level 4. level 5 means they have exceeded the expectations.

I now work in secondary schools, but for the last 6 years have supported Year 6 children within the classroom.

Foundation stage is Nursery and Reception
KS1 is Years 1 & 2 (infants)
KS2 is Years 3, 4, 5 & 6 (juniors)
Years 3 & 4 are usually known as lower Juniors
Years 5 & 6 are known as upper juniors.
Hope that helps.
