It was the summer of 1989 and a real scorcher of a day..there were loads of bands on because Donington had been cancelled that years due to safety issues.Skid Row ,Europe and Vixon- I think were the other acts., about 60,000 in the crowd and the atmosphere was amazing!!..we sat on the grass in the sun before they came on and got stoned Then I lost the t shirt I had bought!....WOW........what a day!

I was at the MK bowl in 93 for a Bon Jovi concert and when the fireworks went off during 'Livin' On A Prayer' the crowd just went ballistic - only time i've witnessed a better atmos was at the U2 gig at Roundhay Park in Leeds on their Zooropa tour..

What memories!!
