There is nothing to delete. DSO exploit is a flaw in the Internet Explorer browser that has been "patched" with a Windows Update some time ago.
Your anti-spyware program (probably Spybot S&D) is simply informing you of this fact.
Make sure that your Windows is 100% patched and updated will all critical updates from Windows Updates. And be sure and check for new updates on every 2nd Tuesday of every month.
Good luck.

Hi Harleygirl,
If you use Spybot Search and Destroy or another spyware removal tool, it may find an item called DSO Exploit. This exploit is a bug in Internet Explorer that under certain circumstances would allow untrusted software to run on the computer. In other words, its a hole in Internet Explorer that hackers could use to gain access to your system.
However, if you are running the latest version of Internet Explorer and have all your Windows Updates installed, the bug has been patched and is not a threat to your computer system. Even though Spybot may still show it as a threat.
If you haven't recently updated your security do so now.
Go to Start, Microsoft Update and download all the security updates then don't worry if Spybot reports DSO Exploit.

Some spyware and viruses prevent other programs from removing them. I suggest you reboot in safe mode and try to remove the parasite that way. When you do this ONLY the basic programs will be loaded (excluding spyware), but you may get glitchy graphics. Also, make sure you take off all startup programs you don't know by going into MSCONFIG.
