For me ''The downward spiral'' by Nine Inch Nails.I remember buying this album after listening to the single ''closer''I didn't know who nin were (was). Not really famous in Europe back in 1994.I'm a fan since then. It's an album that still sounds ''new'' to me even now after 13 years.

I have had so many albums change the way I listen to music. I guess one of the first would be Abbey Road by the Beatles. It's so complex and entertaining; I love the way the songs are connected at the end. By listening to it I recognized that the Beatles were truly ahead of their time. it was recorded, I believe, in 1967- most of the music sounds like it came from the mid- seventies or even the eighties.
Another album that completely rocked my world is Blonde on Blonde from Bob Dylan. The lyrics are complex and the songs go on and on. i can't get enough of that album. Also, Bob Dylan's Freewhellin' Bob Dylan and The Times They Are A changin'- those albums really opened me up to a whole new world of music that I would have never dreamed of liking before.
There has never been an album that had stopped my process of learning about new forms of music; but these albums have definately shaped the way I choose music.

Tommy, by the Who; before I would only get singles, or greatest hits albums, but Tommy made me really appreciate listening to a whole album instead of just one or two songs.

"American Idiot" by Green Day. Before a friend gave me this album, I was stuck in pop-music land. After listening to this, I got deeper into music and I listen to bands like Paramore, Breaking Benjamin, My Chemical Romance, Rammstein, ect. If it wasn't for American Idiot, I'd still be listening to music with no point.
