I need help. I have a Compaq presario computer SR1750NX and I want to get the 8800 computer but I need a new power supply. I need a power supply that has a six pin connector for the 8880 card. I found a power supply that has 550W but it does not say how many pins the connector has but it does say that it has a PCI EXPRESS connector for the 8800 card. Will this work in my computer if not can some one give me a site where they have good power supplys for my computer.

Generally, the 8800 series come with a pin-converter, but as much as I've seen, if your PSU (PowerSupply Unit) has a six pin one, it is the best solution. As to the best PSU I can only recommend the 620W from Corsair, since it is the best you can buy (although not cheap). Check out www.corsair.com.
