Hi i am aloud to get either a sugar glider and a ferret and i donno which one to get! dont mention anything on their smell cuz i got that covered and also i know everything there is to know about each one but from your personal experiance what do you think would be better or what is your best bet!???>/

Well i have both, and i have raised sugar gliders for about 2 years and i have had ferrets for 3 1/2 i love both but if you want a pet to play with alot i would get the ferret because the sugar gliders are mostly a night pet and they don't do well during the day for playing and stuff they wont to be left alone to sleep but the ferret will play no matter what time of day or night you play with them.

Sugar gliders are very cute and I wanted one for a long time but they like company. Most are very independant and can cause lots of mischief. If you don't mind the smell I would get a ferret.

well iv never owned a sugar glider so i cant say nothing about them other then they are cute, but not as cute as ferrets lol! i own to ferrets,and they are very sweet and very intertaining to watch. i would recomend them to any responcible person looking for a pet, though i think you can not just own 1 ferret b/c they get lonley.

I would say a ferret only due to my experience. I know they are ALWAYS playful, and easy to care for. I have heard that sugar gliders are harder to care for and aren't as playful as other animals.

Ferret. They are smarter, enjoy human interaction more, and more veterinarians know how to manage and treat their disease than sugar gliders. You can also have them descented.

ferret. although they hide everything chewable,poop a lot,and, like dogs and cats, have a high incidence of Cancer.when they're awake no matter how old they are,they act like little puppys!

I had a ferret and he always stole my underware for some reason. SUGAR GLIDERS ARE SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO CUTE!!!!!!!!!!
