We already have the child, we can support her fine...it is just the $25,000 loan hanging over our heads that is troubling.

We do go to a small church, and they paid for all of our travel expenses.

Do you go to church? YOu could ask your Sunday School class to sponsor a bake sale for you.

I'm pretty sure there are organizations that will give you monetary support for the adoption as well as future care of the child if you are willing to adopt a minority or special needs child. They are harder to place so you are more likely to get financial support in return for giving them a happy home.

Good luck, and many blessings!

You should qualify for the federal adoption tax credit, which covers a little over $10,000.
For our adoption, we refinanced our home at a lower interest rate, and got "cash back", while still paying about the same amount each month.
Others I know have had garage sales, got part time jobs, started small at home bussiness, or started an "at home daycare" if they already stayed home with their child.
Good luck.

You can hold a different amount of sakes, garage sale, bake sale, you can get a job of walking the neighbors dogs, or lawn mowing
