yes you can. go to "my profile" and then "edit my profile." at the top, you will have the option to change your name, and below that, there will be 3 picture options. choose the one you want.

I've been trying to get an avatar on answers for a while now. THe other night,I Signed in another name on my yahoo account thinking that this would work. But see, it is still under you original yahoo. And no, even with a new name I couldn't get an avatar on. I think that the only way is start a whole new account on your computer,then sign up with yahoo all over again. All new info, e mail everything. IF anyone tells you to just go to edit my info, or change profile, trust me it won't work. This has been a problem that alot of people are having. I think the people who work at Yahoo need to get on the site and correct the problem, allowing users to change if on their profiles.

click on your self at the same time as on YA and then click on edit my thoughts. Then click on replace photograph and out of those is your avatar. elect that when which click Use chosen. ultimately, click submit and your profile/call/photograph is as a lot as date! note: The reduce (/) is used as and/or.
