The Top Contributor means that you've answered a lot of questions in this category and that you have a lot of best answers from this category

Just means that the person contributed a whole bunch of time answering , asking and voting on questions to receive points.

It means that we've answered alot of questions...I think, Yahoo! never gave a reason as to why people were labled as a top contributer, I would think it has to do with your amount of best answers.

it just means that someone is knowlegable in a certain category. anyone can get them. good luck.
