my buddy wrecked his serpentine belt and he has no idea what he's doing. i've never done it before but i am mechanically inclined and all i need is a link to a diagram.

There should be a sticker under hood, either on the hood itself, or on the top of the fan shroud, with the belt routing. If not, any parts store should be able to print a diagram for you. Usually they arn't hard to do, its very rarly I have to look at a diagram to route a belt. If you can't find a picture, use logic.

there should be a diagram under the hood of the truck on the fender wells or in front of the radiator, if not there it should be in the owners manual if he still has it, and if all else fails go to the chevy dealership and see the parts man and he can print the diagram out for you.

go to specifications
go to routine maintenence then
belt routing
click with a/c
view diagram

go to the nearest auto supply and talk to the counter dude...he has what you need to fix the chevy............that is the correct part and the info............
