over-qualified?

or

You don't have an MBA

The usual answer is:

The market doesn't pay that
You're in the wrong geographic area for that salary
You're looking in the wrong place
Your skills are not what you think they are.

I don't know which answer may apply to you if any.

I would suggest you network and don't just answer job ads.

Good luck!

I think Chris M has it right. No one, would want to work under or over you. Just go get a box a tissues and a bottle of whiskey and crawl into a corner because we don't want to hear it.

maybe 100k is a bit too much to expect right off the bat..or you are over qualified for whatever you have been looking into

Gee you sound like someone I would want to hire. Whine, whine, whine, "I can't get a 100k job" "I am a genius"

Please

If you're so smart why are you looking for a JOB? Surely you should be putting together companies.

They probably want to hire you - they just don't want to pay you $100k. Get your salary expectations in line with the job market in your area, get your foot in the door, and then get promoted into that $100k job.
