I've tried many, and Bare Minerals is my favorite. You really can't feel it on, it has built in sunscreen, and covers really well. Different people have told me, "I don't know what you've done with your makeup lately, but it looks good." I tried to go back to liquids because of the price, but it just wasn't the same.

Mary Kay's foundation and apply a thin line of powder foundation on top with a brush...it will help it set and give you a beautiful finish and make the look last longer...

to answer your question, you want to use a shade that matches the skin tone of your face. You don't want to use a dark shade if you have a light skin tone, and you don't want to use a light shade if you have a dark skin tone. As for the type of brand of foundation, you probably don't want to buy the cheapest thing because it's probably not very good if it's really cheap. (but that's my opinion) But it also depends on if you want a foundation in a powder form or liquid form.

well 1st of all you need to determine your skin type...i've tried soooo many . i wanted something that was going to be quick to apply and BLENDABLE (that is the real trick!!) i have found that" bare essencutials" is the best one and its in a powder form you can go from light coverage to alot of coverage with out it looking too cakey or heavy... should you want to try it buy the starter kit. it comes with the brushes which is key...they stand behind their products so you can always return them.

I have personally found that the Almay products work the best. Regardless of what kind of skin type, you get nice coverage without looking like you're painted... :)

I use Cover Girl True Blend and it works great. I also use a lighter shade of its powder for my under eye circles. I love it, and i think you will too.
