He is downright communist in my book. I hope he never gets elected president. His voting record shows he would be a disaster as president.

I would think this would only be to the benefit of McCain. I think that the country is centering on politics in general (specific issues notwithstanding) and will not vote for a candidate viewed as being far on either side. I think conservative democrats and liberal republicans will stand the best chance in '08.

Obama is the most liberal member of Congress running for President. There are more liberal ones than him and more conservative members than the Republican candidates.

Quite frankly I'm happy that none of these politician's voting record is what I'd call extreme. IMO that when you vote the party line 95% of the time.

I'm very pleased to see our presidential candidates moving more to the center.
