my father is piercing my cartilage, but i was wondering where to do it?

if there was a spot it was "supposed" to go. and don't tell me to get it done by a perfessional beucase im not going to. so if you could send me a picture or a link to something? or maybe you just know. please let me know:) thanks

All together i have 6 piercings in my ears. Pending on who you are and how much pain you could actually take (for some it's not so painful) i have one at the top of my ear, but not completely at the top, down a tad bit, so it sits at the shell of you ear. Personally, that's one i like. Someone i know has the shell of her ear pierced and said it was very painful. Another i know has hers pierced halfway up her ear, and personally, it doesn't look all to well. Stick with the ones that are higher up, but not at the very top of you ear. Be careful, i got mine pierced and it throbbed with pain for days. I thought i hit a small vein or something else. Clean it every night and every morning. If your ear is in pain, and you can feel heat seeming to radiate off of it, place the ear cleaning solution in the refrigerator. When cold, apply it to your ear. Whatever you do DO NOT SLEEP ON THE EAR THAT IS PIERCED!!!!!!! It can cause much harm.

Do you mean where on the ear?? because that is up to you, that's what you tell the peircer when you get there because you decide what you want and what would look best for you
