All actors!
But Republican actors!

H-Y-P-O-C-R-I-T-S!!!!

the question was asked because Republicans frequently bash and attack personal aspects instead of keeping it issue based. It's not uncommon to hear a Republican say "(s)he's just an actor" with dismissal without even bothering to address the political issue.

but i guess some of you were too busy attacking the questioner to realize the meaning of the question; thereby proving her point.

Conservative do not blacklist anyone. We are critical of those Hollywood types who feel that they can tell everyone that the any regime they don't agree with is an idiot.

Ronald Reagan and Fred Thompson put their money where there mouth is. They ran for office and used their successful election to make positive changes. They did not use their celebrity to bad mouth others. There is a difference between the two groups you are talking about.

Kelly, why would repubs support leftist nitwit types in Hollywood? There are plenty of Democrats that will do that. Occasionally a conservative or two does get to work in Hollyweird ie. Clint Eastwood, Gary Sinese

Hollywood types aren't 'blacklisted'. It's that so many of them have some pretty far flung ideas or do things because they are 'chic' rather than practical to average people.

The actors to which you refer gave up their acting careers to enter politics, not publicizing political views while still maintaining active careers. Sure, Ahnold was on Reagan's Fitness Council, but that was more symbolic than actually being governmental.

By the way, we've just docked $100 from your spelling teacher's pension. It's spelled "hypocrites".

It has to do, not with who is from Hollywood, but who promotes a liberal agenda, versus who supports a fiscally conservative agenda. Reagan and Schwartzenegger are conservatives. It's not hypocracy, it's consistency. The liberals who love Hollywood hated Reagan. Liberals hate conservatives and vice-versa. That's consistent throughout all professions, not just among actors.

I'm not a repub but is three the best you can do? Do you realize how many actors are in Hollywood but you can only come up with three?

God you are one pathetic liberal. Even the children on this board can do better than that.

It's not being from Hollywood that makes people idiots. It's being idiots (and therefore, liberal) that makes them idiots.

Perhaps if Conservatives had maintained a hold on American government, you would have learned both how to spell "hypocrite", and how to identify one.

As for Ronald Reagan, if you'd bother to read about him, you might find that as President of the Screen Actor's Guild, he was vehemently anti-Communist, and fought to keep Communist influence OUT of Hollywood. It was a battle that he would ultimately lose, as is evident today.

Could you please go back to school and learn to spell?
Why are liberals such crappy spellers?

Look even a broken clock is right twice a day, so there are a few good conservatives that came out of Hollywood, but the big majority of actors are nothing but liberals and commies.

Those gentlemen were right. Most of those celebrities in Hollywood lack values.
