If you are talking strictly quality, then of the three, WAV is the best. Why? Because the usual wav file is uncompressed and lossess - the file does not "throw away" information. Both AAC and MP3 are lossy file compression formats so the smaller you make the files the less quality you will have.

To quote wikipedia ...

Though a WAV file can hold compressed audio, the most common WAV format contains uncompressed audio in the pulse-code modulation (PCM) format. PCM audio is the standard audio file format for CDs at 44,100 samples per second, 16 bits per sample. Since PCM uses an uncompressed, lossless storage method, which keeps all the samples of an audio track, professional users or audio experts may use the WAV format for maximum audio quality.

AAC is better because it has smaller sized folders and songs. So you can put more AAC fiels on an MP3 player

I'd pick MP3 since it takes up less space and it plays music real good.
