i'm at my wits end with this sewing machine. i can't get the bobbin to go in right. i feel like throwing the machine out the window. can you recommend any sites with lots of pictures to show me how to put the bobbin in the machine? it is the brand name "white" if that helps. thanks in advance for saving my sanity.

You might have the wrong bobbin as mentioned before, but bobbins also have a specific way of going in so that the thread is being routed correctly. Make sure when you're putting your bobbin in that it turns counter clockwise when you pull the thread out. I've miss threaded and ended up with a huge tangle.

Check your phone book and see if you have a local dealer for White sewing machines. If so go and see him and ask him to show you how to put the bobbin in the machine.

If you do not have a White sewing machine dealer, go to a place where they repair sewing machines and ask the man there the same thing.

That is an easy and close at hand way and seeing it done is usually better than a single or two picture illustration.

In most machines you have to pull out the bobbin holder and put the bobbin back in the holder and then into the machine

Sounds like you have the wrong bobbin.
It happened to me, when I got my first sewing machine.
Some look alike, but they don't go in.
Write down the name of your sewing machine and go to a sewing store and they will give you the right one, and that spells relief.
