Totally know how you feel! Well have a schedule, get organized. Dont feel like you are the only one in the class who feels this way. Talk to your teacher and let her know how you feel that time is too little. What would she suggest you study??????? Dont study with friends then you talk about boys, school, and friends etc. Hope that helps!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First, let's change your mindset. You aren't studying for a test; you are REVIEWING the material you have already studied. I'm pretty sure you have a pretty good idea what each of your instructor's test mannerisms are--whether they test from the book or lectures or both. When you do your day to day studying, highlight key points--I realize that high schools loan their books, so copy or scan and print pages from the text. Highlight only key points, not lengthy passages. Those parts of the chapter that your instructor emphasizes are also key points. Write in the margins adjacent to that which your instructor is speaking to. When reviewing, note the chapter headings and subheadings. Go over the notes and highlights. Don't re-read the text; there's way too much minutia in there. Review the summary at the end of the chapter and the questions. If you have been diligent during the days/weeks prior to the test, you should have no problem answering the questions. & above all do not stay up all night cramming--you'll be too tired to recall obscure material. I would wish you luck, but you won't need it if you make it your job to attend to your coursework.

Take your past exams and try to briefly see a correlation between your notes, texts, and hand outs. There has to be some kind of correlation or else the teacher is not giving your the right kind of guidance that you need, in order for you to get the needed material down. There are also some subjects that need blatant practice, aside from the memorization of material--such as calculus or math related subjects. You may need to get a tutor...you may have to seek the help of someone who is doing well, and adapt to their methods of learning.

First of all, get organized! Take good notes, pay attention to the lectures, actually take time to study (I will study this on this day, that on that day, etc.), and most importantly NO PROCRASTINATING! Good luck
