Quit asking questions and get busy answering them. Give quick, short answers but try to give good answers so they'll pick you as "best answer."

If you asked a question, ALWAYS choose a "best answer" because you get 3 pts. back doing that but get ZERO back if you let it go into voting.

I found a trick. First, answer a lot of questions and give great answers. That usually works. Now here is the trick. Comb over your answers frequently and see if any of them have gone up for voting. If you can remember the answers you gave, vote for yourself. Most people think it is unethical but who cares, its a point game. I have gotten as many as 6-10 'best answers' per day. This cheap move is not governed by the schilling law established by answers. You should be able to vote for yourself.

Why do you want more points, they don't mean anything. It's better not to answer questions just to make points, answer when you think you have something unique to contribute. It just creates more noise to sort through otherwise.

Answer questions; don't ask them. Get a lot of best answers.
